Storyteller
Over the past 20 years I have committed my life to investing in people and building teams. I am passionate about creativity, innovation and the pursuit of new ideas, in my own life and others. I also believe that caring for people is the key to successful organisations and businesses. Often in workplaces we are so busy that we forget to look after the key people that make these communities work effectively.
My first job was at a petrol station, then a nuts and bolt shop, as a cleaner, taught guitar and eventually ended up as the CEO of a large national organisation. I've experienced personal 'burnout' and never want to experience it again. It's often only through these moments that we learn to live with healthy rhythms, balance and honestly embrace our own vulnerability.
I believe that questions are extremely powerful when asked well, they can unlock our ability to grow personally, professionally & creatively. I have a passion for coaching and training, for walking alongside people as they work out how to navigate life and work. I have a belief that you know how to put your life together but sometimes we just need someone to walk with us as we discover it and have the courage to implement it.
I am married to Catriona and together we have 5 boys. We are based in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia. I would love the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your next step and build healthy rhythms in your life.

Overgrown lawns make me smile: to me, they are a symbol of freedom in a carefully controlled world. Above everything else, I have a deep desire to help people and see them be the best they can be. It is the fuel that drives me.
I am from the country and the city, from academia and experience, from atheism and faith, from mechanical engineering and sports and visual art, from corporate teams and solo pursuits, and I bring all this to my ability to coach. I am a good rookie, a fast learner and quick adapter to any problem. And, I have over 23 years experience developing leaders, teams and especially creatives.
I continue to lead (47+1), an installation art group, and a large not-for-profit organisation. I have been in many exhibitions for animation (NSW Film & Television Office Young Filmmaker Award), sculpture (Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi), painting and drawing, short story writing and poetry.
I live with Tiffany and our two kids on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. I really like skateboarding, art, and getting lost and finding my way home.
